At present our choir practices are directed towards preparing for our next concert, which takes place at 7 pm on Saturday 21st June 2014. On that evening we shall be one of ten choirs taking part in the Annual Massed Male Voice Choir Charity Concert of the English Association of Male Voice Choirs, at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, DY5 3DH.

The massed choir will feature approximately 200 voices, and additionally there will be performances by several soloists. The charities benefitting from the concert are the Cranio-Facial Unit at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Troop Aid. Tickets cost £10 each, and can be purchased by phoning 01384 393067. It should be a great night, and we at Newport (Salop) Male Voice Choir are very much looking forward to it.
