It has been a few years since we last performed at Burton Borough School in our home town, so it was a pleasure to perform there on a sunny Saturday evening, and all the more so because we were sharing the evening with the ladies of the Cosford Military Wives choir.

We sang our way through a varied programme, which included one or two recent additions to our repertoire, as well as some established favourites. Our guests thoroughly entertained us with two very lively sets, encompassing popular songs, some dating from the of World War One and World War Two eras, and others of  more recent vintage.

The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by both performers and audience, and we very much hope that we may have the pleasure of singing with our guests again at some future date.
