On Saturday 10 March our choir joined forces with our good friends Much Wenlock Male Voice Choir for a lively evening of song at Holy Trinity Church, Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Our two choirs are well acquainted with one another, as Vivian Redfern, our esteemed Musical Director, is also accompanist to Much Wenlock MVC.  The choirs had performed together 18 months ago, at Cosy Hall, Newport, and this was a return visit.

Both of the choirs are celebrating important anniversaries this year, as 2018 marks our 75th anniversary, and also the 50th anniversary for Much Wenlock MVC.

The singers put on a sparkling show, as they each sang through their own varied programme, as well as joining forces to sing three numbers together. The evening was greatly enjoyed by performers and audience alike, and we very much look forward to the next such occasion.
