On Friday 20 December our choir held its annual Christmas Concert, at St Nicholas’ Church in Newport, together with our guests, the ladies of the Codsall Singers. As is usual at this event, a large audience was in attendance, and everybody had a great time, as the two choirs sang through their programmes and the audience joined in the singing of carols.

Members of our choir served wine, mince pies and Christmas cake to the audience in the interval, and everybody went home in good festive spirit.

Our thanks to the Codsall Singers and their musical director, Jan Spencer, for sharing this occasion with us. It is always a pleasure for us to perform with them.

Thanks, also, to the ladies who prepare and serve refreshments at our concerts.

Last, but certainly not least, thanks to the members of our musical team, musical director Viv Redfern, and accompanists Mike & Jo Ward for their help and support through another successful year.
