Although Edgmond lies only a few miles from our home town of Newport, Shropshire, it was some years since our choir last had the pleasure of performing a concert there, so it was with great pleasure that we gave our first performance of 2018 in this lovely church.

In front of a rather small gathering, the choir rose to the occasion well, and gave a very accomplished and enthusiastic performance that was much appreciated by those present. The refreshments in the interval were quite delicious, and the interval raffle added to the excitement of the occasion.

All in all, this was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
